Terms and Conditions

1.) Arrival and departure
Unless otherwise agreed, the hotel does not cancel the booked room capacities until the day of arrival 15:00 o'clock at your disposal. The room capacities must be returned on the day of departure no later than 11:00 a.m. In case of late departure until 6 p.m. the hotel is entitled to charge up to 50% of the price, thereafter up to 100% of the price. Reserved rooms must be occupied by 6 p.m. on the day of arrival, or the hotel must be informed in writing of a late arrival, otherwise the hotel can freely dispose of the rooms ordered.

2.) Deadlines for complete cancellation of hotel rooms and flat rates for event customers:

  • Up to 42 days before the start of the event, the customer can cancel the booked services free of charge. Cancellations up to 28 days before the start of the event will be charged with 30% of the booked services.
  • Cancellations made up to 14 days prior to the start of the event will be charged with 50% of the booked services.
  • Cancellations made up to 7 days prior to the start of the event will be charged with 70% of the booked services.
  • Cancellations made up to 3 days prior to the start of the event will be charged with 90% of the booked services.
  • Cancellations received later will be charged with 100% of the booked services. For bookings of 20 or more hotel rooms, the above cancellation periods are extended by 7 days. For bookings of 40 or more hotel rooms, the above cancellation periods are extended by 14 days.

3.) Deadlines for reducing the order volume of hotel rooms and flat rates for event customers:

Between the 41st and 20th day before the event 50% of hotel rooms and packages can be cancelled free of charge.

Between the 19th and 14th day before the event, an additional 20% of the remaining hotel rooms and packages can be cancelled free of charge.

A further 10% of the remaining hotel rooms and packages can be cancelled free of charge between the 13th and up to and including 4 p.m. on the day of arrival.

The cancellation conditions mentioned under 2) and 3) always apply, unless other conditions have been agreed.

4.) If the hotel has incurred additional costs in accordance with the order, e.g. by commissioning subcontractors, these are to be reimbursed in full against receipt.

5.) No smoking in the hotel
The Country Hotel Am Zault is a non-smoking hotel. It is therefore forbidden to smoke in the public areas as well as in the guest rooms. In the event of a violation, the hotel has the right to demand an amount of EUR 100.00 from the guest as compensation for the separate cleaning costs to be incurred, including any loss of turnover from a renting of the room that is not possible as a result. This amount of compensation is to be set higher or lower if the hotel proves a higher or the guest a lower damage.

6.) The law of the Federal Republic of Germany shall apply; place of jurisdiction and place of performance shall be the registered office of the hotel. Should individual provisions of these GTC be invalid, this shall not affect the remaining provisions.
